About Us
Who we are
ReUseIT CIC was founded by a group of IT professionals with decades of combined experience across development, testing, analytics, operations, and strategy. We’ve seen how transformative access to technology can be — and how many people are excluded from those opportunities simply because they lack a working device or the confidence to use one.
We created ReUseIT to change that. Our mission is simple: expand digital opportunity while reducing e‑waste.
What we do
Digital skills that build confidence and open doors
Many of the people we support haven’t had regular access to a computer, or have only ever used a smartphone. We provide friendly, practical training that helps people build the skills they need for education, employment, and everyday life. This includes essentials like email, online safety, job applications, and accessing public services.
For those who want to go further, we’re developing training pathways that introduce the fundamentals of IT support, software development, and other technology roles. Our aim is to help people build confidence, independence, and long‑term opportunity.
Refurbishing devices and reducing e‑waste
We take unwanted, broken, and end‑of‑life IT equipment, repair and refurbish what we can, and responsibly recycle what we can’t. Refurbished devices are made available to low‑income households for a token contribution or free of charge, ensuring cost is never a barrier to opportunity.
This circular approach reduces waste, supports sustainability, and gives technology a meaningful second life.
LeanForge: practical agility for real‑world challenges
Not all of our work is technical. Our signature LeanForge programme brings the principles and benefits of small‑a agile to organisations where uncertainty is slowing progress or where a lack of a clearly defined end state makes leaders hesitant to commit.
LeanForge helps teams move forward with clarity, adaptability, and momentum — even when the path ahead isn’t fully mapped out. It’s a practical, accessible approach to getting things done in complex environments.
Our values
- Accessibility — Everyone deserves the tools and skills to participate fully in modern life.
- Sustainability — Reducing e‑waste is essential for both environmental and social impact.
- Dignity — Support should empower people, not make them feel judged or dependent.
- Practicality — We focus on what works, not what looks good on paper.
- Community — We collaborate with organisations, businesses, and individuals who share our vision.

We’re always looking to build new partnerships — whether you want to donate equipment, collaborate on training, or explore how LeanForge could support your organisation.
